About Alexi

Alexi is the founder and heart behind Driftwood Body Healing. Born and raised in Half Moon Bay, she envisioned a space where bodywork and healing could blend in harmony—with a calming, beachy aesthetic that reflects the natural beauty of the coast.

Her passion lies in helping people stay healthy, grounded, and moving with ease. With over two decades of experience and a deep commitment to ongoing learning, Alexi integrates a wide range of bodywork techniques with an intuitive, nurturing touch. She is guided by the belief that each client’s needs are unique—and always comes first.

Sink into the warmth of the table, inhale the scent of 100% pure organic essential oils, and let your body unwind into a deeply restorative experience.

Alexi graduated from the McKinnon Institute of Massage Therapy in 2003 and received advanced certifications in Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Craniosacral Therapy at the Body Being Center in Truckee, Tahoe in 2006. She continued her studies with Thai Massage at Spirit Winds in Nevada City (2007) and Chiang Mai, Thailand (2013), and later trained in New Mexico in Arvigo® Mayan Abdominal Massage.

Her curiosity and love for learning continue to grow, enriching every session she offers.

About Dominic

Dominic Petrino joins Driftwood Body Healing on weekends, offering sessions Friday through Sunday from 10am to 8pm.

With a B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly Humboldt and an A.S. in Massage Therapy from De Anza College, Dominic brings a strong foundation in anatomy, movement, and therapeutic touch. His approach blends relaxation and function—drawing from sports massage, Swedish techniques, breathwork, and passive movement to help clients reduce stress, restore ease, and move with more confidence and less pain.

Over the past six years, Dominic has worked in both spa and mobile settings, including over 100 chair massage events and countless in-home sessions across the Bay Area. He believes that movement is medicine, and that touch is one of the most powerful ways to support healing.

When he’s not in the studio, you might find him biking or running along the coastal trails—or shaping a new ceramic mug at the wheel. Whether through massage or a wave on the trail, he looks forward to connecting with you.

Book with Dominic for focused, grounded care—weekends only at Driftwood Body Healing.
